About the estate
The Clos Lacabe estate is located in Cuqueron within the AOC Jurançon denomination and has been run by the Riuné family for over four generations. The vineyard covers 5.5 hectares on sloping hills facing the Pyrenees with a south to south-west exposure. The soils are of volcanic origin, composed of gravel and clay-siliceous schists with a ferruginous crust. The grape varieties cultivated on this area are Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng. The winery operates under Terra Vitis certification and is undergoing conversion to organic farming.
