About the estate
The historic Château Soucherie estate manages a vineyard area of approximately 28 hectares distributed across three sites in the Loire Valley. The main portion of the vineyards is situated on a south-facing schist slope in Beaulieu-sur-Layon, sheltered from northern winds. The dominant grape variety is Chenin, which is vinified unblended into Anjou Blanc, Savennières, Coteaux du Layon, and the 1er Cru Chaume. For the red Anjou wines, Cabernet Franc is cultivated and sometimes blended with Grolleau, while Gamay is used for the rosé wines.
The estate sells to distributors.
