About the estate
The Château Princé estate covers 15 hectares of vineyards in the Loire Valley, with a history dating back to the eleventh century. The first vines were planted in 1806 on a terroir characterised by schist and clay soils in Saint-Melaine-sur-Aubance. Today, the winery operates biodynamically and vinifies its wines in a modern cellar using stainless steel tanks, oak barrels and clay amphorae. The grape varieties cultivated include Chenin and Cabernet Franc, which are crafted into appellations such as Anjou and Coteaux de l'Aubance.
