About the estate
The Chateau Pourquey-Gazeau estate has been managed by the Fouilhac family for thirteen generations and traces its history back to 1674. The winery is located on the heights of Castelviel in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers on a clay-limestone soil. Spanning 74 hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates all its vines according to organic farming practices. The southeast exposure of the slopes provides ideal climatic conditions for the aromatic expression of the various grape varieties. The portfolio includes wines from the appellations AOC Bordeaux, AOC Bordeaux rosé, AOC Bordeaux Supérieur, and AOC Entre-Deux-Mers.
