Chateau Peyrat

About the estate

The Chateau Peyrat estate is located in the municipality of Cérons along the historical Graves route near the Sauternais wine region. This enclosed property spans 17 hectares of vineyards situated in a single continuous plot surrounding the castle. The soils consist of fine sandy gravel, clay, and traditional gravel over a limestone bedrock. The vineyard area is balanced between eight hectares dedicated to white grape varieties and seven and a half hectares for red varieties. A microclimate shaped by the proximity of the Garonne river influences the site.
