About the estate
The Chateau Duplessy estate has a history dating back to the eighteenth century and is managed today by Josiane and Willi Liebherr. Located south of Bordeaux in Cenac on the first hills near the Garonne river, the vineyards are planted with classic grape varieties including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle, and Sauvignon Gris. The estate practices organic and biodynamic agriculture with manual harvesting. In the cellar, vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats followed by aging in French oak barrels.
The estate sells to horeca and distributors. Export markets include Switzerland and Netherlands.
