About the estate

The Château Montplaisir estate is located in the south of France in the heart of Provence and cultivates fourteen hectares of vineyards on high-altitude plots in Vinsobres and Valréas. The vineyards feature stony soils covered with rolled pebbles on the foothills of the Alps, benefiting from cooling winds and warm Mediterranean influences. The grape varieties grown include red grapes such as Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan, alongside white varieties like Roussanne, Viognier, Marsanne, and Picpoul. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Côtes du Rhône, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Valréas, and Vinsobres appellations.
