About the estate

The Château le Grand Verdus estate is a historic property in Bordeaux featuring origins dating back to the Renaissance period and family ownership since 1846. Following the Second World War, the Le Grix de la Salle family developed the small vineyard into a renowned wine estate located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. Today, the family manages more than 50 plots, most of which are farmed individually, spread across significant elevation changes in the hills. The winery places a strong emphasis on preserving its remarkable biodiversity while maintaining a continuous family heritage across generations.
