About the estate
The Château Lagarde estate is located in Martillac in the heart of the Pessac-Léognan appellation and covers 54 hectares of vineyards. The property comprises 50 parcels distributed across 27 distinct soil types identified through detailed soil studies. The grape varieties cultivated on the estate include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sémillon. A team of eleven people, led by General Director Pénélope Godefroy and Deputy General Director Valentin Jestin, manages the operations. The estate combines a natural environment of forests, streams, and vineyards with a precise, parcel-specific matching of grape varieties to their ideal soils.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
