The Chateau Lagarde Bellevue - Chevalier des Anges estate is located in Saint-Sulpice de Faleyrens in the Bordeaux region and covers 13.5 hectares of vineyards with vines at an average age of 35 years. The vineyard soils consist of gravel and sand. The planted grape varieties comprise 70 percent Merlot and 30 percent Cabernet Franc. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks with a maceration period lasting several weeks, followed by aging in oak barrels for ten to fourteen months. The winery produces an annual average of around 20,000 bottles, which are distributed primarily on the French market through wine merchants and directly to private customers.
