Chateau la Prioulette

About the estate

The Château la Prioulette estate is a wine producer dating back to 1911 and managed by the Jallon-Bord family. Located in the Bordeaux region, the vineyard sits at the top of the slopes overlooking the Garonne river. The steep and stony terrain features soils composed of gravel on the surface and clay-limestone at greater depths, providing natural drainage for the vines. These agronomic conditions and the exposure allow for the production of powerful, richly colored red wines as well as wines from the AOC Bordeaux, AOC Bordeaux rosé, AOC Bordeaux sec, AOC Cadillac, AOC Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux, and AOC Côtes de Bordeaux denominations.
