About the estate
The Château La Mission Haut-Brion estate is located in the communes of Talence and Pessac in the heart of the Graves region within the Pessac-Léognan appellation. Spanning 29 hectares and belonging to Domaine Clarence Dillon, the vineyard comprises around 25 hectares planted with red grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, alongside slightly more than 4 hectares dedicated to white varieties including Sémillon and Sauvignon. To protect its historical terroir, the winery relies on environmentally conscious practices, maintaining spontaneous winter cover crops and producing its own compost from pruned vine shoots. Biodiversity is actively strengthened across the property through measures such as preserving woodlands, managing hedgerows, and maintaining flowering plants for pollinators.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
