About the estate
The Chateau la Hourcade estate is managed in the third and fourth generation by the Cecchini family, who have been cultivating vines since the 1960s. Located in the Médoc region between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean, the property cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards. The gravel soils of the Garonne shape the wines, which are produced as AOC Médoc and VSIG using the Merlot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. Since the 2021 vintage, the winery has been certified and operates according to sustainable farming practices.
The estate sells to retail.
