About the estate

The Chateau Hourbanon estate is situated in the heart of the Médoc near Lesparre and was already classified as a Cru Bourgeois at the end of the 19th century. The winery combines traditional methods and regional typicality with modern approaches to winemaking. Vinification is flexibly adapted to the specific conditions of each vintage to produce wines with diverse characteristics. The maturation process also incorporates the traditional technique of ageing in amphorae. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Médoc and AOC Bordeaux rosé denominations, among others.
