About the estate
The Chateau des Mille Anges estate is located on the right bank of the Garonne in Saint Germain de Grave and originates from a former convent property. In 1994, Mrs. Heather van Ekris acquired the vineyard and subsequently invested significantly in cellars and facilities. The 25-hectare vineyards extend over steep slopes featuring gravel soils and a clay-limestone subsoil. Cultivated grape varieties primarily include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc for red wines, alongside Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris for white wines. Vinification involves temperature-controlled fermentation followed by aging in oak barrels.
