Über den Betrieb
Das Weingut Chateau des Mille Anges liegt auf der rechten Seite der Garonne in Saint Germain de Grave und blickt auf eine Geschichte zurück, die auf ein einstiges Klostergelände zurückgeht. Im Jahr 1994 erwarb Mrs. Heather van Ekris den Betrieb und tätigte umfangreiche Investitionen in Kellertechnik und Gebäude. Die 25 Hektar großen Rebflächen erstrecken sich über steile Hänge mit Böden aus Kies sowie einem Lehm-Kalk-Untergrund. An Rebsorten werden vor allem Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon und Cabernet Franc für Rotweine sowie Sauvignon Blanc und Sauvignon Gris für Weißweine kultiviert. Die Vinifikation umfasst eine temperaturgeführte Gärung und einen anschließenden Ausbau in Eichenfässern.
