The Château des Chapelains estate is located in St Andre et Appelles in Bordeaux, covering 48 hectares of vineyards above the Dordogne valley. A total of nine grape varieties are cultivated on predominantly clay-limestone soils, with boulbènes found on the summits. The red and rosé vineyard area spans 31 hectares with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère, and Malbec. The remaining 17 hectares of white varieties comprise Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Sémillon, and Muscadelle. The production consists of Sainte Foy Bordeaux Blanc alongside Sainte Foy Bordeaux Rouge, Bordeaux Clairet, and rosé.
