About the estate
The Chateau de Roquebrune estate is located in Lalande de Pomerol and has belonged to the same family since 1880. The vineyard covers 11.2 hectares on a terroir composed of sand, gravel and clay, which is ideally suited for the predominant cultivation of Merlot. Florent Guinjard runs the estate in this tradition, relying on manual harvesting and avoiding chemical weed killers. Vinification is carried out with very little barrel aging in order to preserve the fruity character of the wine. The portfolio includes wines from the AOC Bordeaux and AOC Lalande-de-Pomerol appellations.
