About the estate

The Château de Peyrassol estate looks back on a history that began in 1204 when the property was granted to the Templar Order. Today, the estate comprises 92 hectares of vineyards located in Flassans-sur-Issole in Provence, managed in accordance with organic farming regulations. The vineyards range from 220 to 350 meters in altitude on soils predominantly dating from the Triassic period, consisting of clay-limestone marl. Thirteen different grape varieties are cultivated to produce red, white, and rosé wines under the AOC Côtes de Provence denomination. Since 2001, the estate has been owned by Philippe Austruy, who extensively modernized it and operates it under the management of Alban Cacaret.
