About the estate

The Château de Clapier estate is located in Mirabeau in the heart of the Luberon and has been a family-run winery since 1880. Passed down through four generations, the estate is currently managed by Thomas Montagne. The vineyards cover 35 hectares of land within the AOC Luberon and IGP Méditerranée designations. The estate cultivates twelve grape varieties, including Pinot Noir, on stony limestone soils characterised by a cool microclimate and high temperature range. Traditional viticulture combined with respect for nature shapes the identity of the property.
