About the estate

The Chateau Arcole - Chateau la Freynelle estate is a family-owned property whose history began in 1789 when Jean Barthe planted his first vines in Naujan-et-Postiac. Today, the vineyards extend over 80 hectares located in the communes of Targon, Faleyras, Daignac, and Espiet in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers. With an average age of 25 years, the vines produce high-quality white and red grapes. From these grapes, the winery produces red, white, rosé, and Clairet wines, which are bottled directly at the château.
