Charly´s Weinkeller

About the estate

The small family-run Charly's Weinkeller estate is located in Wincheringen along the southern Moselle wine region and is managed in its second generation by Manfred Welter. The vineyards thrive on deep shell limestone soils that impart freshness and vibrancy to the wines. The portfolio includes traditional historic grape varieties such as Elbling and Pinot varieties, alongside newly bred cultivars. All wines are hand-harvested, organically farmed, and gently vinified with extended fermentation periods. These characterful wines are bottled in small quantities.
