About the estate
The Champagne Pertois-Moriset estate, located in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, is an independent family winery founded in 1951 and currently managed by the third generation. The vineyard covers 20.7 hectares distributed across two terroirs, namely the Côte des Blancs, dominated by Chardonnay, and the Coteaux Sézannais, planted with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate focuses on environmental respect, biodiversity, natural winter grass cover, mechanical tillage, and the avoidance of chemical inputs when conditions permit. Vinification takes place in a pressing center established in 2009, featuring temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks as well as barrels and large wooden casks. The wines undergo aging on fine lees and spend a minimum of twenty months on the lees in bottle.
