The Champagne house Champagne Forest Marie looks back on a long family winegrowing tradition documented since 1746 and developed across nine generations. The name reflects the union of two families from Trigny and Ecueil who currently manage the estate together. The vineyard holdings comprise numerous parcels distributed across villages such as Trigny, Ecueil, Sacy, and Villedommange, featuring diverse soils planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The family operates independently with meticulous manual vineyard work and a decades-long practice of applying mulch between the rows. During the harvest, the grapes are hand-picked and pressed separately to compose distinctive Champagnes.
