The Champagne A. Viot et Fils estate is based in Colombé-la-Fosse within the Côte des Bar and traces its origins back to 1800. Across an area of 8 hectares, the estate cultivates Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier in equal parts, managing the vineyards by hand with rigorous standards and respect for nature. The terroir is characterized by steep slopes, a clay-limestone subsoil, and a mild climate relative to the rest of the region. These conditions yield characterful and vinous champagnes that receive international acclaim. Operating as a Récoltant-Manipulant, the family-run winery combines traditional craftsmanship with ongoing development in independent production.
