About the estate
The Celler Mas Candí estate was founded in 2005 by Ramon Jané and Mercè Cuscó in Les Gunyoles at the foothills of the Massís del Garraf Natural Park. The Cuscó family has documented roots in cultivating these lands since the 17th century, and Ramon Jané comes from a winemaking family in Guardiola de Font-Rubí. The winery farms twenty hectares of vineyards located in Avinyonet del Penedès and Guardiola de Font-Rubí. The estate places its focus on native grape varieties such as Xarel·lo and Sumoll, alongside the recovery of ancestral varieties that had fallen into oblivion. Both in the vineyards and in the cellar, operations follow a minimal intervention approach, and all vineyards and the winery are organically certified.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Xarel·lo.
