About the estate
The family estate Caves Planes Albareda is located in the Alt Penedès region and produces wines and cavas with 100 percent in-house production. The vineyards are cultivated with grape varieties such as Xarel·lo, Chardonnay and Merlot for still wines, alongside Macabeu, Parellada and Trepat for the cavas. The entire process is controlled from the careful management of the vineyards during the vegetative cycle through to commercial handling. Special care is taken during the harvest to ensure that only healthy grapes enter the fermentation tanks. The winery focuses on maintaining rigorous quality control throughout all stages of production.
