About the estate
The Caves Cathelineau estate is located in the Loire Valley and cultivates vineyards planted with the Chenin grape variety. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand to select optimally ripe grapes through multiple passes. Vinification takes place separately by terroir in 600-litre oak barrels. The ageing and bottle maturation of the wines take place in tuffeau cellars that have been excavated by each generation of the family over three centuries.
