About the estate
The family-run Cave Sandrine Bigot estate manages a vineyard area of nearly five hectares in the heart of the Cerdon appellation in Bugey. The steep, south-facing parcels are situated on clay-limestone soils and reach altitudes of up to 550 meters. The estate developed from a mixed agricultural farm across generations before the current owner succeeded her father in 2003 and eventually dedicated herself entirely to viticulture. Vineyard management follows the certified standards of Haute Valeur Environnementale, avoiding insecticides and maintaining grass cover between the rows. In the modern winery, the estate produces sparkling rosé wines using traditional methods from grape varieties such as Gamay and Poulsard.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Gamay and Poulsard.
