About the estate

The family-run Cave du Séminaire estate cultivates sixty hectares of vineyards on the heights of Valréas at altitudes between three and four hundred meters. Managed in the fourth generation, the winery operates entirely according to organic farming methods with biodynamic practices applied in the cellar. Various grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Clairette thrive on clay-limestone and safre soils to produce white, rosé, and red wines. Vinification relies on indigenous yeasts and minimal interventions using temperature-controlled concrete tanks. The estate acts completely autonomously from the cultivation of the vines to the commercialization of its wines.
