About the estate
The Swiss winery Cave du Rhodan located in Salgesch in Valais looks back on a family history that began with the foundation by the Mounir family in 1962. For three generations, the estate has been dedicated to producing authentic, characterful quality wines from predominantly traditional Valais grape varieties. The work in the vineyard is nature-oriented and focused on quality, with certain parcels being farmed biodynamically. The portfolio includes wines with the AOC Valais designation of origin, such as Cornalin, whose vines are in part over forty years old.
