About the estate
The Cave de la Place - René-Pierre Zufferey estate is located in Chippis in the Swiss canton of Valais, with vineyards situated across the municipalities of Sierre, Veyras, Miège, and Venthône. Production includes around fifteen different grape varieties, consisting of two-thirds red wines and one-third white wines. For over twenty years, a major vineyard restructuring program has been carried out to optimize soil suitability. In addition, the estate owns a small vineyard in southern France near Uzès dedicated to producing its rosé. The wines are produced under the AOC Valais denomination.
