About the estate
The Cave de La Cresle estate was founded in 1850 and is located in the village of Saint-Satur within the Sancerre appellation, having been passed down through several generations. The winery spans 21 hectares of vineyards, which are farmed organically and have been certified for organic agriculture since 2013. The vineyards feature soils dominated by flint, clay-limestone, and Kimmeridgian marl, where Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are cultivated. Winemaking is conducted on a parcel-by-parcel basis to produce authentic wines that reflect the character of the individual terroirs.
