About the estate
Founded in 1937, the Cave Coopérative de Saint-Chinian is a cooperative located in the heart of the village of the same name. The cooperative brings together around 100 winegrower members who cultivate 600 hectares of vineyards spread across several surrounding communes. Situated at altitudes between 120 and 300 meters, the vineyards grow on schist, clay-limestone, and sandstone soils under the Mediterranean climate of the Languedoc. The estate produces approximately 25,000 hectoliters of wine annually, primarily under the AOP Saint-Chinian and IGP Pays d'Oc, Pays d'Hérault, and Mont de la Grage designations. Part of the vineyard is farmed using sustainable methods, with the harvest conducted half manually and half mechanically.
