About the estate
The Castellaccio estate is located in the heart of Tuscany within the northeastern area of Chianti Classico in Greve in Chianti. The vineyards extend across the slopes of the Chianti Mountains at altitudes between 400 and 600 meters, covering a total area of ten hectares. Annual production reaches approximately 500 hectoliters of Chianti Classico DOCG, which are vinified directly on site. Since 2014, the winery has pursued the conversion to organic agriculture using sustainable methods. All vineyards are registered with the Chianti Classico Consortium and produce wines certified with the Gallo Nero trademark.
