About the estate
The Careglio estate was founded in 1986 by Pierangelo Careglio in Baldissero d'Alba in Piedmont and is managed as a family business. Covering ten hectares of vineyards, the winery cultivates parcels on the Costabella and Valmezzana hillsides, which feature sandy soils with clay and limestone content. The production includes various denominations such as Roero DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, and Langhe DOC. Vineyard and cellar operations incorporate ecological production mechanisms and avoid the use of chemical herbicides. The estate's wines are distributed to numerous international markets today.
