About the estate

The Capua Winery was established in 2002 by founder Riccardo Capua in the Maremma Toscana region near Saturnia. Across six hectares of vineyards featuring a very high planting density, the estate cultivates grape varieties such as Alicante, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, and Sangiovese. The production process involves careful management, with grapes harvested and vinified separately before aging in premium wood barrels. At the core of the winery's philosophy is ongoing experimentation focused on finding the ideal harmony between the specific terroir and the various grape varieties.

The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Alicante. The estate sells to horeca.
