The Capannelle estate was founded in 1974 by Raffaele Rossetti in Gaiole in Chianti in the heart of Tuscany. The property covers 16 hectares of vineyards dedicated to grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, and Malvasia nera. Since 1997, the winery has been owned by James B. Sherwood, who further developed its presence on international markets. Today, the estate's wines are distributed in 35 countries worldwide and include various denominations such as Chianti Classico DOCG.
