About the estate
The Cantine Pupillo estate was founded in 1909 on the historical Feudo Targia, which is now integrated into the Archaeological Park of the Dionysian Walls in Syracuse. The fertile and diverse soils of this location have a long tradition of producing quality wines. Nino Pupillo revived the estate's winemaking activities in the 1990s by introducing its first label, Solacium. Today, the winery is managed by his children, Carmela and Sebastiano, who focus on the cultivation of Moscato bianco alongside commitments to innovation and environmental sustainability.
