About the estate

The Cantine Laviola winery is located in Policoro in the Basilicata region, an area with a long and ancient history of winemaking. Founded by Anna with the support of her father, the estate emerged from the conversion of family land previously used for other purposes into extensive vineyards. Today, the entire production follows strictly organic methods, combining traditional knowledge with modern techniques. Vineyard practices include the spurred cordon training system to improve grape quality and the bush-vine method for particularly prized grape varieties. In addition to viticulture, the agricultural activities of the estate also include the cultivation of fruits and vegetables.
