About the estate
The Cantine IL Moro winery has its roots in a family tradition that began in the late 19th century in San Vito Romano through the brothers Luigi and Vito Cianfriglia. In 1949, Fernando and his sons expanded the property and planted the Ottonese and Bellone grape varieties, which still form the basis for the white wine today. After actively working in the vineyards, Alessandro took over the estate in December 2016 representing the younger generation. Today, the traditional vines are utilized for bottle production.
