About the estate
The Cantina Signae Cesarini Sartori Rossobastardo was established by the Cesarini Sartori family, who left their previous careers in the late 1990s to dedicate themselves to wine production in Bastardo. Spanning 30 hectares of vineyards, the estate cultivates grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet, and Sagrantino. The winery emphasizes intensive manual labor in the vineyards, with parts of the acreage farmed organically. The estate features a technologically advanced cellar designed for efficient vinification without the use of synthetic chemistry or added sulfites. This approach is supported by collaborations with universities to foster a circular economy and explore new uses for production waste.
