About the estate

The Cantina Santadi was founded in 1960 as a cooperative by a group of winegrowers in Sulcis to strengthen local viticulture. Under the leadership of Antonello Pilloni and through the pioneering collaboration with oenologist Giacomo Tachis, the estate underwent a profound qualitative transformation. The focus is on the Carignano del Sulcis DOC grape variety, which shapes the Mediterranean terroir and the house style. Low yields, rigorous grape selection, and a conscious maturation define the character of the wines. Today, the winery represents a distinct identity that brings the essence of the region into the bottle.
