About the estate
The Cantina Poggio Borgoni estate is located in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Tuscany, and has been managed by the Rovida family for over half a century. The vineyards cover an area of approximately ten hectares on the slopes overlooking the Pesa and Greve valleys. All vineyard plots are registered for the production of Chianti Classico DOCG and Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC. The vineyards are planted primarily with Sangiovese alongside a few parcels of Merlot. As part of a comprehensive renewal program, older vines were progressively replaced with new plantings suited for modern viticulture.

Colore rosso rubino intenso. Al naso presenta forti sentori di frutti di bosco ben integrati a sentori tostati di vaniglia e note di spezie. Il sapore evidenzia una perfetta armonia per la notevole presenza di tannini dolci che rendono il gusto vellutato con una notevole sensazione di pienezza.

Colore rosso rubino molto intenso, profumo marcato con sentori di frutti di bosco ben integrati a note di spezie ed un elegante nota di vaniglia. Il sapore è pieno, ottima la struttura, vino equilibrato ed armonico dal retrogusto persistente.
