About the estate
The Cantina Monti winery was founded in 1976 by Sergio Monti in Ticino and is now managed by his son Ivo Monti. The estate spans 4.7 hectares at an altitude of 550 meters with extreme slopes that do not allow mechanization. The operation focuses on producing wines with very low yields in the vineyard and works consistently without pumps in the cellar. The portfolio includes wines under the Bianco del Ticino DOC, Ticino DOC, Rosso del Ticino DOC, and Vino Liquoroso del Ticino DOC denominations.
