About the estate
The Cantina Fratelli Pardi S.S. estate was founded in 1919 by the brothers Alfredo, Francesco, and Alberto Pardi, and is today managed by the subsequent generations, brothers Gianluca Rio and Alberto Mario. The approximately eleven hectares of vineyards are situated along the gentle hills of Montefalco, cultivating traditional varieties such as the indigenous Sagrantino alongside Sangiovese, Cabernet, Merlot, Grechetto, Chardonnay, and Trebbiano Spoletino. All vineyard operations, including pruning, leaf removal, and hand harvesting, are carried out strictly by hand. For the maturation of the wines, the estate utilizes a combination of stainless steel tanks, French barriques, and traditional large oak casks located in the underground cellar area.
The eno directory lists 9 wines, mostly from Trebbiano Spoletino and Sagrantino.
