About the estate
The Canato Marco estate is located on the hills of Vignale Monferrato in the Piedmont region. The historical tenuta belonged to monasteries and bishops in the eighteenth century before the Canato family acquired the property in the 1950s. Today, Marco Canato manages the winery, which encompasses ten hectares of vineyards. The grapes are cultivated on suitable soils using rational methods and are processed and aged in the traditional cellars as well as in the typical tufa Infernot.
