About the estate
The Campocorto estate is located in Greve in Chianti in Tuscany, producing wines under the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations. The portfolio features the Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG made from Sangiovese and the IGT Curiale Supertuscan composed of Sangiovese and Merlot, with a very limited annual production of 500 to 800 bottles. The Chianti Classico Riserva ferments in concrete and steel tanks with partial maturation in oak barrels, whereas the IGT Curiale ages for 24 months in barriques. In addition to wine, the estate also produces an unfiltered extra virgin olive oil from hand-harvested olives.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Merlot.
