Ca di Ciser

About the estate

The organic Ca di Ciser winery has been run by a family in the lower Verzasca Valley in Switzerland since 2024. The estate is located on the sunny terrace of Mergoscia and comprises about three hectares of vineyards in steep, south-facing terraced locations up to an altitude of 840 meters above sea level. Due to the topography, mechanical work is not possible, which requires extensive manual labor for vine cultivation. The operation has been managed without the use of spray treatments since 2019, focusing on the cultivation of fungus-resistant grape varieties. The grapes are processed in the estate's own cellar and sold directly as wine and grape juice.
