About the estate
The Borgo delle Oche estate traces its origins back to 1907 as a family-run property located in Valvasone within the western Frionian plain. The estate comprises around ten hectares of land, with seven hectares planted with vines situated in the Friuli Grave DOC zone. The winery is strictly family-managed and exclusively applies organic methods in the vineyard, including pheromone traps and environmentally friendly treatments for pest control. Under the direction of Luisa Menini and winemaker Augusto Majero Pittini, distinctive wines with pronounced minerality are produced. The family is supported by the next generation, who now oversee operations in both the vineyards and the cellar.
